Using SearchIlm

SearchIlm exists so you can read, search, and study the Quran and Hadith, ask the questions you have been sitting on, and find an answer grounded in a real source. Read, search, listen, and share freely for study and reflection. Keep your account details safe; you are responsible for activity under your account.

Your content

Comments, questions, and messages you post stay yours. By posting, you let us store and display them within the platform. Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, or that misrepresents scripture. We may hide or remove content that breaks these terms.

Accuracy of sources

We show scripture and translations from named third-party sources and do our best to keep them faithful. Translations differ; when in doubt, check the Arabic and a qualified scholar. We do not guarantee any single translation is definitive.

Availability

SearchIlm is provided as is, without warranty. Features may change and the service may be unavailable at times. We are not liable for losses from using or being unable to use the platform.

Third-party content

Scripture, audio, and lexical data come from third parties under their own licenses. See our Attributions & licenses page for the full list. SearchIlm has no subscription, no ads, and no paid tier, so sources licensed for non-commercial use are served under those same terms.

Changes
